Owner, Derek Fritsch, has been building things for as long as he can remember. What started as a childhood passion turned into a lifelong craft. After high school, he attended Fox Valley Tech, where he completed their residential building construction program and later returned as a student teacher.

In 2018, Derek took a leap and brought his dream to life by launching Green Hammer Construction, LLC. What began with detailed finish work has grown into general contracting new builds, home additions, and so much more. Today, Green Hammer Construction is far from a one‑man show, Derek leads a skilled and dedicated team that brings craftsmanship and reliability to every project.

Derek’s work is rooted in craftsmanship, sustainability, and modern building practices. He’s committed to continuous improvement—always learning, refining, and staying current with the best materials and methods to ensure every customer is thrilled with the final result. He is a proud member of the Midshores Home Builders Association and the Fox Valley Tech Residential Building Construction Program Advisory Board.
